About us

Northside Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation Center is an independently owned private physical therapy practice that was started in 1988 by Deborah A. Peterson, MA, PT. Debbie's background is diverse, having worked in rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient physical therapy. She was previously Director of a hospital physical therapy department, Assistant Director of Physical Therapy at a sports rehabiliation facility that worked with Olympic skiers, and has been an adjunct faculty member at EWU's Physical Therapy program.
MEET OUR STAFF:
Verna Tuter is our Receptionist. She will help schedule your appointments, assist with your paperwork, and help with other office tasks. Susan Rojas is our billing specialist and will work with you and other staff to communicate billing information to The Provider Connection, the company that handles our billing.
Marianna Evans, Mike Reynolds, Amelia Jay and Julie Allgood are our Physical Therapy Aides. They will be your initial contact to help you be comfortable in the treatment room. They may also set you up on some of the equipment being used, and help you with some of your exercise or other needs. They will help insure your waiting time is as short as possible.
Megan Roland, PT, Susan Gray, PT, ATC, Jane Baker, PT, and Debbie Peterson, P.T. will provide your physical therapy treatment. Susan is an athletic trainer and graduated in physical therapy from EWU, as did Megan, and both also have Bachelor Degrees from WWU. Jane graduated from Ohio State University and Debbie graduated from the University of California and USC, and both have more than 25 years’ experience. All frequently update their physical therapy skills and knowledge with continuing education courses. Over the years, they have all also helped teach in the EWU Physical Therapy program, and have acted as clinical instructors for Physical Therapy Students.We are fortunate to have Donna El-Din, PT, PhD, Distinguished Professor, EWU Physical Therapy Program, and Andrea Baker, PT , who also occasionally assist us all.
